Woody Allen Film Premier Devolves into Protest at Venice Festival

Tensions escalated at the premier of Woody Allen’s film, Coup De Chance, during the celebrated Venice Film Festival. The incident unfolded as protesters, decrying what they termed “rape culture,” endeavored to claim a spot on the coveted red carpet before being promptly escorted off the premises.

Interestingly, the revered Venice Film Festival has extended opportunities to several movies directed by a controversial trio; Woody Allen, Luc Besson, and Roman Polanski, who have each been marred by accusations and scandals linked to the influential MeToo movement.
