It is to be stressed that anyone who feels like they may need testing, should call the number 1 877 644-4545. The hotline number 514-630-2123, released yesterday, is for general inquiries and serves residents with flood questions as well.

“The clinic is accessible by appointment only, to individuals with mild to moderate symptoms,” she continued.  “It is imperative that people call 1 877 644-4545 for an appointment before coming to the clinic as they will be denied access to the clinic if they do not have an appointment.”

The testing site is located on Elm Avenue in Beaconsfield at the site of the future Batshaw facility.  The site was constructed in 2015 after then Quebec Liberal health minister Gaetan Barrette launched a major reorganization of the province’s health care system which resulted in both newly-configured CIUSSS health authorities and budget cuts.

Batshaw Youth and Family service centre then fell under the  CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île

Budget cuts ran deep in the years to follow leaving no money to finish the Batshaw project in both Dorval and Beaconsfield.
