The West Island Women’s Centre, an agency supported by Centraide, is offering two free weekly support groups this winter:
Embracing Your Introverted Self
Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning January 24, 2017
An 8-week support group that explores what it means to be an introvert — including its advantages.
Learn how to manage introversion to be able to socialize in groups with more ease and assert the need for alone-time without feeling inadequate or guilty.
Facilitated by Susan Molnar, M.Ed.
Build Your Self-Confidence and Take Charge of Your Life
Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning January 26, 2017.
Renew your confidence and make the changes you want in your life with this empowering 8-week support group.
Topics include the importance of self-esteem and self-confidence; communication skills; life balance; and setting personal and life goals.
Facilitated by Sherezad Abadi Perez, a mental health clinical research professional and fitness instructor
The groups are free of charge, but donations are welcome. Registration is required.
