The West Island Palliative Care Residence’s annual “La course pour la compassion” usually signals the start of the West Island’s running fundraisers. Unfortunately, this year’s edition was cancelled due to social distancing measures.
Luckily the team behind the event has announced that they will now be holding a virtual race on Saturday, September 26th.
This leaves more time for race participants to train and raise funds for the West Island Palliative Care Residence. All proceeds from this event benefit the residents’ patients and their families.
For racers who had already signed up for the event and started personal fundraising pages, their registration will be carried over to the virtual event.
