The West Island Mission’s Food Assistance program continues to support the community throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. They continue to provide food aid to West Islanders and have implemented new measures to ensure the safety of their volunteers, staff and clients.

The Missions says they will be “preparing ‘baskets’ for our clients” instead of having them shop at the grocery store themselves. This all for the objective of reducing the spread of Coronavirus and continuously helping the West Island community in need.
