National Philanthropy Day is a special day dedicated to recognizing the exceptional contributions of philanthropy – and of all those who are part of the philanthropic community – in our lives, our communities and our world. For the past week, Community Shares shined a light on the contribution and impact of its incredible donors, corporate partners and generous supporters. Community support is of critical importance to Community Shares’ mission and even more during these difficult times.
Some corporate partners, such as National Bank, AVON Canada and RBC Royal Bank, are reaching important milestones this year and Community Shares is proud to recognize their long-standing and generous support. RBC Royal Bank and National Bank each surpassed the cumulative $ 1 million milestone donated to Community Shares since the beginning of their partnership, while AVON Canada celebrates 20 years of corporate partnership.
