West Island College (WIC) of Dollard Des Ormeaux, a top ranking co-ed bilingual high school, will be offering a daily bus service to and from WIC starting the 2015-16 academic year for the Laval area.
Though still in the planning stages the proposed morning pick up will begin at 7 a.m. at Notre Dame Pharmaprix parking lot in Laval, head over to St. Martin Maxi Grocery Store by 7:10 a.m. followed by two stops in Saint Laurent with a scheduled arrival at WIC by 7:45 a.m. Classes start at 8 a.m.
The afternoon return trip pickup will be from WIC at 4:45 p.m. daily to allow students to take part in extra-curricular activities and to benefit from homework time and extra help services.
The cost per student per year will be $1,750.
WIC ranked number one among Quebec private schools for its English school and number two for its French school in the 2014 Quebec ministry exams amongst all private schools in the Montreal region.
The Dollard des Ormeaux high school operates an all-French school available to all children and a French-immersion school for those who have an English eligibility certificate.
