Not sure what your city is doing this Canada Day, or want to try something new? Here is a roundup of what’s happening on this July 1st.

This year, Alter Ego will be celebrating Canada Day in the city of Dorval! They will be performing the biggest dance hits from the last decades with over 250 costume changes. This will be a performance to remember! The day will also include a family show with Les Vitaminés, rock and roll with Matt Rock, laughs with Aweye Manon, roaming entertainment, airbrush tattoos, inflatable games, and food trucks to satisfy your cravings. The celebration will end with Dorval’s very popular fireworks. Be sure not to miss this great day of fun for the entire family!

Shows on stage will be presented including the musical performances of Becket players and the music group Tone Call. Outdoor activities for children include inflatable games, face painting, arts and crafts, ball hockey and much more!
Where: Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Center
When: July 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
The city of Pointe-Claire is gearing up to celebrate Canada Day with a fun-filled day of kid-friendly activities (inflatables, glitter tattoos, etc.). Enjoy free swimming in the Pointe-Claire Village pool, try out some stand-up paddleboard and new this year, meet your elected officials.
Special Canada Day Challenge: be one of the first 100 people to fill up your reusable bottle at their water station and receive a Pointe-Claire gift basket.

When: July 1st from 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
A full day of fun begins with the always enjoyable Pierrefonds-Roxboro Canada Day Parade and ends with a groovin’ good time courtesy of King Melrose and his guest, Stéphanie Bédard.

Parade starts at Riverdale Highschool and ends at Borough Hall. Afternoon fun and evening shows at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School
When: July 1st from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Beginning at 12 pm with the raising of the flag, enjoy live DJ and music, face painting, a BBQ ($) and a steak dinner. This event has limited places and tickets must be purchased in advance.
