Friday morning greets us with a spattering of showers, whilst winds from the southwest are set to gain strength as the day unfolds. However, the rain is anticipated to abate by afternoon, and we may see temperatures rise to a pleasant high of 22°C.

The change in conditions is a precursor to a cold front that’s set to descend upon us Friday night creeping into Saturday. As a result, a discernible drop in temperatures is predicted ahead of the weekend. Furthermore, the possibility of additional rain on Friday night cannot be discounted, coupled with a low of 15°C.


The weather forecast for the ensuing days projects varied conditions:

On Saturday, expect a blend of sunshine and fluffy clouds, offering a respite from the rain, with a high temperature of about 13°C. However, the showers might return on Sunday, bringing with it cooler temperatures of 8°C.

As we move into the new week, Monday brings cloudy skies, accompanied by a 30 per cent chance of showers. The day’s high is expected to be around 8°C. Tuesday will likely follow suit, presenting more cloud cover and thermometers reading around 5°C.

The weather on Wednesday may stick to the trend, offering a cloud-filled sky with a 30 per cent likelihood of showers. However, the high temperature is expected to remain stationed at a cooler 5°C.
