In the silent hours of Saturday, around 1:55 a.m., a disturbing scene of violence unfolded near the junction of Maple Leaf Street and Molesworth Street. This notorious event occurred within close proximity to the Wellesley Arena and Community Centre, prompting the relentless force of the Waterloo Regional Police into action.
The victims report having been approached by an intimidating ensemble of approximately 20 young males. Harrowing accounts testify to the assailants discharging a noxious substance on the victims before proceeding to bombard their vehicle with BB gun pellets in a frantic and fearful attempt to make an escape.
