The City of Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac is asking thousands of customers who shopped at the Costco in Vaudreuil-Dorion between March 31 and April 3 to place themselves in quarantine for 14 days, after two employees have been declared positive at COVID-19.
“We remind you that it is everyone’s responsibility to act in order to maintain a healthy and safe living environment for all,” the municipality said in a statement released on Wednesday.
The first infected employee completed his last shift on March 31, while the second employee did so on April 3.
Thursday morning, several dozen customers lined up in the rain to be able to enter the Costco de Vaudreuil. A scene that has become almost “normal” since the start of the COVID-19 crisis. The same line up system has been put in place at Costco in Pointe-Claire.
