Unlock the Mystery: How a $10 Million Ronin Fund Could Revolutionize Blockchain Gaming and DApps

30

The Ronin Network recently unveiled a $10 million grant program aimed at fostering blockchain development with an emphasis on gaming, consumer decentralized applications (DApps), and DeFi protocols. Launched as part of the Ronin Ecosystem Grants initiative, this program seeks to attract developers to expand the network’s blockchain capabilities.

The $10 million fund is divided between developer teams and waypoints, which are crypto-based bridge services. Builders can receive up to $300,000 in Ronin (RON) tokens, while waypoint gas grants offer up to $20,000 in funding. Approved teams will receive funding based on the successful achievement of milestones aligned with long-term strategic goals, assisting with costs like development integrations, audits, and deployment.

This initiative not only looks to increase user engagement and simplify blockchain interactions but also aims to support innovative projects that address key user or developer challenges. The program is designed to enhance developer collaboration, transforming Ronin into a hub for gaming, consumer DApps, and DeFi applications.

The grants program does not have a specific deadline, and applications will be reviewed within four weeks. Successful projects will gain elevated visibility through Ronin’s platforms, including the Ronin Ecosystem Grants website and the Ronin Wallet, and will have access to the Ronin Builders Discord for collaboration opportunities. Furthermore, approved developers may avail discounts from infrastructure and tooling providers. Projects applying for multiple grants are required to submit separate applications for each initiative.
