SEND Arcade has unveiled the NFT entry pass for the second season of its blockchain game, Squad Game, which draws inspiration from the hit Netflix series, Squid Game. Starting December 30, players can mint these entry passes on the Magic Eden platform. SEND Arcade announced that there are a total of 456 entry passes available for Squad Game Season 2, each priced at 0.69 SOL, equivalent to approximately $133.

The initial phase is reserved for whitelisted wallets holding over 50,000 SEND tokens as of the teaser release, with minting access open from 13:11 UTC to 16:11 UTC. Each wallet in this phase is limited to two passes. Following this, a public phase will begin at 16:20 UTC where all wallets can participate. By the current update, 48 out of the 100 available passes have already been minted.

SEND Arcade’s X post urges interested participants to only mint if they intend to play or gift it to friends, highlighting the limited supply and the engaging gameplay. The NFT-based Squad Game encapsulates a survival game structure involving more than 450 players who compete over three weeks, with the prize pool increasing as players are eliminated.

The first round compels players to pick one of four symbols, with the least selected symbol resulting in the elimination of its chooser, reminiscent of Squid Game’s tense and strategic decision-making. The subsequent round mirrors the infamous ‘Red Light, Green Light’ game from the series, though details on further rounds remain undisclosed. It is uncertain if the sequel will introduce new games, though it is possible considering Squid Game Season 2’s updates.
