UFC middleweights Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori recently found themselves in an unexpected altercation inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The impromptu clash occurred shortly after the two attended Friday’s Professional Fighters League (PFL) match held at the casino’s Hard Rock Live arena.

The confrontation began when Marvin Vettori, a 30-year-old fighter from Italy, attempted to punch UFC light heavyweight Tuco Tokkos, according to a report from MMA Mania. Brendan Allen, 28, hailing from South Carolina, intervened, leading to a heated exchange of punches between himself and Vettori. The struggle culminated with both fighters landing several blows to each other’s faces.

During the skirmish, Vettori appeared to fall onto a roulette table, according to eyewitness accounts. The spectacle quickly drew a sizable crowd of onlookers, many of whom captured the fracas on their cell phone cameras.

Despite the intensity of the altercation, neither fighter sustained significant injuries, and no arrests were made following the incident. Observers recounted the melee, noting that Vettori’s initial swing at Tokkos missed, prompting Michael Johnson to clear the area. Allen then stepped in, landing a 1-2 combo on Vettori, which ultimately caused him to fall into the roulette table.

UFC CEO Dana White later commented on the clash via social media, suggesting that if it had taken place during the PFL event, it would have been deemed the fight of the night.

Later that evening, Vettori took to social media to address the incident, boasting about his resolve. He wrote, “One armed Vettori is unbeaten. Ain’t never missing s**t.” He elaborated further, describing how he was repeatedly hit during the chaos, with several bystanders intervening before the altercation ended.

The incident between Allen and Vettori comes after their scheduled bout at April’s UFC 240 was canceled due to an injury Vettori sustained. As a result, Allen fought Chris Curtis instead, ultimately winning by a split decision. Vettori subsequently criticized Allen on social media, questioning his performance and deriding his call for a title shot.

The unscheduled and tumultuous clash between the two fighters not only provided unexpected drama for those present but also continued their unresolved tensions from the canceled UFC bout.
