Both condemned the act online.

Housefather said it was sad to see anti-Semitism in the election campaigns on the 3rd day. He added that this would not scare him from speaking up for the Jewish community in Canada.

Bendayan linked the anti-Semitism to the far-right sentiments to the south if the border.

Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) stated that the Montreal Police had been informed about the anti-Semitic graffiti.

The FSWC, through its president and CEO, Michael Levitt, stated that it is sickening to see anti-Semitic sentiments against Jewish candidates in Montreal.
