
In a tragic event that unfolded in Little Bartibog, N.B., three individuals lost their lives due to a brutal two-vehicle accident. The incident, which involved a car and a motorcycle, claimed the lives of a 47-year-old man and 20-year-old woman from Campbellton, N.B., along with a 37-year-old man from Tilley Road, N.B.
The fatal collision occurred in the vicinity of Route 8, with local RCMP responding swiftly to reports of the crash around midday on Thursday. Despite immediate efforts, the occupants of the car and motorcycle, who were pronounced dead at the tarmac – casualties of their grievous injuries.
While the cause of this devastating accident is yet to be clearly defined, the RCMP initiated an intensive investigation. This grave situation drew not only RCMP collision reconstructionists to the scene but also the active participation of the Miramichi Fire and Police Departments, and the Department of Justice and Public Safety.
Further to this, the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office joined the effort, assisting with the ongoing investigation. In a bid to establish the precise reason for this fatal event, autopsies have been scheduled for all three victims.
