The city of Montreal has just completed a phase of a tree-planting project in Ile-Bizard!

The goal is to replace diseased trees that had to be cut down and to increase the number of trees in our city. A variety of different trees have been planted on residents’ lawns that do not currently have any. The city has planned to take full care of the trees until approximately 2024.

So far, residents are very pleased with the completed work and excited to watch these new trees grow. Thank you to île-Bizard resident, Stephanie, for speaking with the West Island Blog.
