Ontario Provincial Police reported a collision in Norwich Township on Friday afternoon, involving a passenger vehicle and a horse-drawn carriage. The accident took place on Oxford Road 13, where police were called to the scene around 4 p.m. Two individuals in the carriage sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital, though their lives are not in danger. The person in the passenger vehicle was unharmed. Tragically, the horse involved in the collision died. Authorities are continuing their investigation and urge anyone with information to contact Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
