Table de Quartier Sud de-l’Ouest-de-l’île (TQSOI) has launched a survey on access to fresh fruits and vegetables for the residents in the West Island.
From the research done by the Public health department, the West Island is the food desert meaning that residents have very limited access to fresh produce within walking distance.
TQSOI is reaching out to receive feedback from West Islanders on this topic. The results will help develop innovative services adapted to the needs and preferences of West Island residents. Click the following link to access the survey and possibly win a $25 gift card to Metro (complete details found in the survey): https://tqsoi.org/lets-talk-food-survey/.
