3 RD ANNUAL MONTREAL CYCLESWAP

Lower Canada College, 4090 Royal Avenue, Montreal H4A 2M5
(Between Sherbrooke Street West & Monkland Avenue in NDG)
The Friends of the M.U.H.C. and Cycle Neron Montreal are excited to
bring you details of our 3 rd Annual CycleSwap: a lively, fundraising event where our community comes together to sell, donate or buy “ready to ride” bicycles and at the same time raise funds to help support patients of the McGill University Health Centre. We have chosen to dedicate this year’s proceeds to the purchase of at least five Infusion Pumps for M.U.H.C. Oncology patients. These state-of-the-art pain management devices are specifically designed to give patients the freedom to administer their medication from the peace and comfort of their own homes. No ward. No scrubs. We all seem to have been touched by cancer one way or another. Please help us make this difference. Thank you.
Cycling weather is just around the corner. Now is the perfect time to check that you, and your bike, are both ready to rock and roll. Perhaps you’ve been looking to upgrade? Maybe you want to hit the trails but only have a road bike? Kids seem to grow everyday…. are you sure their bike will last them through the summer? Buying, selling (or both), for you or the family, means you should come!
Here’s how it works….
“I want to sell a bike”
Perfect! Bring your “ready to ride” bicycle to L.C.C. between 8:30 am and noon. Our mechanics will run a tech check and help with pricing. Proceeds of the sale will be split 50/50 between you and the MUHC.
“I want to donate a bike.”
Thank you! If you need help getting it to the Swap, please contact us by April 29th at
cycleswap@friendsmuhc.org
“I want to buy a bike.”
Great! Come on over between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. We will have all our bikes racked to make them easier to view, and our team of experienced cyclists will be on hand to help you make the right choice.
We promise a buzzing, bustling vibe with some great music, tasty snacks, and bike safety & helmet fitting clinics for the kids.
