Rob Mitchell, Gateway Casinos Director of Communications, has published an update on the construction of a new gaming property in North Bay, Ontario. Mitchell confirmed that the casino construction is on Schedule, and it is in line with the plans. Despite the progress, it is still unclear when the casino will open its door for the public.
In Ontario, casinos were given the green light to reopen for a while. Afterward, another order was issued by the provincial government suspending all businesses—that why the opening of the North Bay casino is still uncertain.
Mitchell says that the new casino will have a similar exterior and interior as those of Cascades Casino in Chatham. That will include the floor and layout, all with the same plan. Mitchell also described Cascades Casino as one that is aesthetically pleasing and also successful.
Mitchell also thinks that the new gaming property will quickly attract gambling lovers. Apart from the casino, the property will host amenities, including Match Eatery and Public House, and The Buffet. Mitchell says that the property is ready to comply with all provincial health measures, including 50 guests’ maximum capacity in a gaming venue.
Gate Casino recently laid off some of its staff members who worked in Chances Casino Kamloops lay. The decision was made after the provincial government closed down indoor food amenities. The current ban on indoor dining will last at least until 19th April.
Atlas Steak+ Fish was also scheduled to reopen officially on 30th March. However, due to the in-person dining, the property only offers takeout and delivery services to its local clients.
