Regina’s community and recreation centers have been closed since March 28, and now, the reopening date has been announced. The city has stated that it will open these centers on Monday, 10th of May.
The facilities were closed on March 28 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of those affected by the pandemic has been increasing and the new variant has been also reported in the area, so the city closed its centers at the end of March this year.
Although the centers will be opened soon, residents who want to visit these sites should register for drop-in activities beginning at 9 a.m. Friday online or by calling 306-777-7529.
All activities require pre-registration to limit lineups and maximize the number of people who can participate. COVID-19 protocols will be in full effect all the time.
Tennis and pickleball courts and golf courses will be available for registered visitors as well.
