The 2020 budget for the City of Dorval was adopted at a council meeting on December 11, 2019.
This balanced budget of $131,600,000 takes into account, among other things, the delivery and quality of services that the City of Dorval wishes to provide to its citizens, climate change, which requires the municipality to review the way it operates (namely in terms of snow removal operations), the maintenance of municipal buildings, and various assistance programs offered by the City.
As for taxation in 2020, the City of Dorval is reducing the average residential tax bill by 2%, which represents, on average, $61.81 less on the tax bill.
