A 17-year-old faces charges for stunt and dangerous driving after allegedly exceeding twice the speed limit on Highway 401 in eastern Ontario. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported the teenager was caught driving at 201 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. The incident occurred on a Friday evening in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, near Gananoque, roughly 300 kilometres east of Toronto. The G2 licence holder was observed making unsafe lane changes on the busy thoroughfare. Furthermore, the driver exited a ramp at 153 km/h, significantly surpassing the posted speed limit of 30 km/h. As a result, the police impounded the driver’s red sedan.
