At the crux of this unfortunate event was a long-haired adolescent, showcased by Thai media as a 14-year-old caught in the grip of law enforcement. The boy, identified only as a minor with a history of mental illness treatment, remains an enigma for authorities who are yet to determine the source of his weapon.
The police chief, Torsak Sukvimol, confirmed the heartbreaking toll: a Chinese visitor and Myanmar national succumbed to the fatal incident, while five others suffered injuries.
