In a tragic turn of events, a 19-year-old gentleman lost his life following a vehicular collision involving two involved parties which occurred in the quiet town of Dufferin, located in New Brunswick, this past weekend.

Local law enforcement responded swiftly to distress calls drawing their attention to an accidental mishap on Route 170 in Dufferin, at approximately 5:40 a.m. on Saturday. The incident, as stated by them, was a collision between an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a regular passenger car.

Investigative authorities have hypothesized that while following the same route, the unfortunate encounter occurred when the car, en route to an unknown location, hit the stationary ATV.

The young driver of the ATV bore the brunt of the collision. Following emergency procedures, he was quickly transferred to a nearby medical facility. Regrettably, despite best efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The impact resulted in only minor injuries to the passenger aboard the ATV and the car’s driver. They both, fortunately, survived the dreadful incident.

Specialists from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) skilled in collision reconstruction are actively collaborating with members of the New Brunswick Coroners to dissect and interpret the event’s details. An autopsy is scheduled for the young man, which should provide insight into the exact cause of his untimely demise.

The ongoing investigation by law enforcement continues to unravel the incident’s heart-breaking circumstances.
