Dimitri Vachon and Pierre-Lou Costerg founded AeroSim Experience to help professional pilots develop their technique in a high-calibre simulator. As a side benefit the general public can experience the joys of flying or get over the fear of being in the air.
Located at 1177 Desserte North, Highway 440, the AeroSim Experience offers a realistic experience thanks to high definition images and true to life weather simulations. The simulator is a replica of a Boeing 737 cockpit giving the pilot a chance to experience everything from terrific views to in air malfunctions.
Take a flight for the fun of it
In addition to flight time, the instructor will provide a briefing of about 20 minutes prior to takeoff, regardless of the flight experience chosen, to familiarize the participant with the in flight environment prior to take off. The instructor is present throughout the flight to answer questions and provide assistance. Flight experiences range from 30 minutes for $99; 120 minutes for $299. Junior flights are available for children from the ages of 6-14 at a cost of $99 for 60 minutes.
Does traveling make you nervous?
Take the controls of an airliner for a new way to master your fear of flying. AeroSim Experience, in exclusive collaboration with the Testing and Research Aeronautical Security Center (TRASC), offers a desensitization program for those with apprehension or fear of flying.
With the guidance of air security professionals, in a group or private session, getting in touch with the object of the traveller’s anxiety greatly increases the chance of overcoming fear. The LIBAIRTY program provides core theoretical knowledge and realistic trials as passenger and pilot, giving the individual a meaningful sense of assurance when flying. Having a new perception of air travel is believed to give the participant a sense of freedom and peace of mind to fly.
