On the evening of June 10, the West Island Blog shared a security video to social media showing $500 worth of flowers being stolen from outside a West Island restaurant on Saint-Charles boulevard. After posting the video, it immediately started getting reactions from our community.
West Islanders shared their thoughts in the comment section of the video calling the event “Terrible” and “Unbelievable”. The clear security footage was viewed over 8,000 times in less than 24 hours.
On the morning of June 11, the owner contacted the West Island Blog to let us know that  the flowers had been returned overnight. They were delighted and would like to thank the community.

***UPDATE JUNE 11***This morning we received a message from the restaurant owner telling us that all of the stolen flower pots had been returned overnight. They would like to thank everyone for their help. Great news 🙂 In the evening of June 8th, $500 worth of flowers were stolen from outside a West Island restaurant located on St-Charles Boulevard. This video was shared with the West Island Blog by the owner of the establishment. If you have any information concerning this crime call the local police station.
