Join me on November 17, from 5:30 p.m., at the Pumps and Pearls event to benefit the West Island Women’s Shelter (WIWS). Where? Le Château at Fairview Centre Pointe Claire. Why? Well, it is, of course, a great cause but also because it is so much fun to shop for fashion while giving back.
The event launches the WIWS annual kickoff to raise funds to “Stomp Out Violence”. Le Château will be donating a percentage of all footwear sales on the 17th — and then again for the full 12 days of action from Nov.25th to Dec.6th.
The kickoff event will be Chaired by Tony Loffreda, Vice-Chairman of RBC Wealth Management. RBC is sponsoring the day’s activities through a generous donation to the shelter.
Jamie Orchard, Global TV’s News Anchor will host the event and report live from Le Château during the festivities.
The fun goes on for 12 more days to line up with the International Campaign for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The kickoff events take place between 5:30-9:00pm. But WIWS would encourage everyone to shop from the morning on as all sales through the day will be counted toward Le Château’s donations and continue for the full 12 days of action from Nov.25th to Dec.6th.
