PINK OCTOBER 2020: TOGETHER FOR BREAST HEALTH
International Breast Cancer Awareness Month officially starts on October 1! With the healthcare system under great strain from the pandemic, people affected by breast cancer need support now more than ever. • In Canada, approximately 210 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year and 60 will die from it.

Pink October is an annual communication campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer and fundraise to support the cause.
About the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is the only philanthropic organization to ensure its investment in breast cancer research stays here in Quebec. In over 26 years, it has raised over $54.4 million and invested it here in Quebec in cutting-edge research and in defending the best interests of breast cancer patients and their loved ones. These funds are also invested to support innovation, awareness and education efforts. Families, researchers, volunteers and donors all share the same hope: to increase the survival rate of people affected by breast cancer to a true cure.
