Thank you to Sherene for this easy pita recipe. Sherene used the stovetop while I used the oven. Similar results. Recipe 4 cups flour 1/4 cup oil 2 cups and 2 tsp warm water 1tbs yeast 1 tbsp sugar 1/2tsp salt Mix all together. Let stand one hour. Makes 8 balls. Let rest 5 min. Roll out. Let stand 10 minutes. Reserve a little flour for rolling. I rub some of the oil on my hands before manipulating the doe. Cook in a stovetop pan on medium heat. Flip often Option: Bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees until golden, flip often!
