MGM’s Shadow Creek golf course ranked as the top casino course in the US by Golfweek panelists. The Tom Fazio designed course located North of Vegas was rated 8.13 ahead of Fallen Oak rated 7.26. The Fallen Oak is also designed by Fazio and is located in Saucier, Miss.
The Shadow Creek course is now the most expensive public course in the history of the US. The MGM’s course charges $1, 000 for its 18 green holes during the peak season. In the other month, especially in March, May, October, and November, the MGM fee goes for $750.
Second, on the list of Nevada’s top-rated courses is the Edgewood Tahoe located in Stateline at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort. The golf course was also designed by Fazio and is the only lakefront course in the region. The players pay $190 on a weekday and $320 on the weekends to use the course.
Third, the Bali Hai Golf Club, located on Las Vegas Boulevard. It was designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt, previously owned by Billy Walters. The property is associated with MGM. Years ago, there were plans to turn the course into a parking lot for Allegiant Stadium, but the efforts seem dead.
