The executive team from the local Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 245 were in the offices of the Dorval Community Aid on Lakeshore Road this past Wednesday morning.

$1,500 worth of toys, food, and gift certificates were donated through various functions from the Legion home on Avenue Jean-Marie Landry throughout the year.

“Pauline Cornish was instrumental, working with members, putting this together on our behalf,” Stephen Clempson, 1st Vice President, Legion Branch 245, told The Suburban.

“We are very grateful to Ms. Cornish, Mr. Clempson and Mrs. Cunningham-Stokes for their support,” said Jane Rajca, Division Chief, of Community Aid.

Community Aid is available to all Dorval residents in need of assistance, and information on matters concerning health, social services, legal aid, daycare, federal, provincial, municipal, and Para public services.
