WINTER ACTIVITY LAUNCH – PIERREFONDS

To start off the New Year, borrow some free cross-country skis and snowshoes. Cycle Paul will also be on hand for free trials of the winter bike (fatbike). A cross-country ski specialist from Sail will present a workshop on cross-country ski waxing. GUEPE will be onsite with an insect kiosk.

FEEDING THE FIREHOUSE

Come enjoy an evening of cooking with your little helper (age 2 to 6) at Provigo le Marché Kirkland. You will make turkey subs, a hot firehouse dip and a yummy cupcake!

POINTE-CLAIRE WINTER ICE-BREAKER

Outdoor fun for the whole family to enjoy, with pre-novice hockey games, ice sculptures, dog-sled rides, music, and more!

ECOMUSEUM ZOOKEEPER FOR A DAY

Are your children crazy about animals? Would they enjoy learning how to care for them, preparing meals for them or concocting enrichment toys for them? The Zookeeper-for-a-Day activity is perfect for them! Here is what awaits participants of the Zookeeper-for-a-Day activity:

  • Prepare meals and feed some of the animals;
  • Invent enrichment toys for the animals and observe their reaction to these discoveries;
  • Participate in a scientific workshop as participants dissect a raptor pellet;
  • Enjoy up-close encounters with some of the most popular animal ambassadors.
  • And other exciting surprises!

SB BOWLING MTL – STRIKE OUT CANCER

Do you like kids? Do you like bowling? Do you want to help raise funds for children living with cancer? Then come out and support the 2nd annual STRIKE OUT CANCER fundraiser event benefitting the Sian Bradwell fund.

WEST ISLAND COMMUNITY SHARES RED & WHITE BENEFIT EVENING

One of the West Island’s most prestigious fundraising events, the Red & White Benefit Evening has raised over 1 million dollars in the last 14 years. More than 200 corporate and community leaders attend this event which includes a cocktail, oyster bar, gourmet meal, fine wine and auctions.

LUMINOTHERAPIE

This winter the Place des Festivals Luminotherapie theme is Impulsion. 30  various-sized seesaws can be found at the Place des Festivals that light up and create different melodies when sat upon. Open to the public from Sunday to Wednesday from noon to 10 p.m., and from Thursday to Saturday from noon until 11 p.m, this activity will provide tons of fun for the whole family.

LA FETE DES NEIGES

The Fête des neiges de Montréal is an outdoor family event that takes place over 4 weekends and is dedicated to discovering and celebrating the joys of winter. Back at Parc Jean-Drapeau for a 36th edition, the Fête des neiges brings together thousands of visitors in search of a unique winter experience every year. Organized by the Société du Parc Jean-Drapeau, this popular family-oriented winter event has programming geared toward enjoying the outdoors and offers many shows and a wide array of activities.
