3Live Butterfly Release

For the second year in a row, a Live Butterfly Release benefiting the West Island Palliative Care Residence will take place. This open-air Fundraiser offers participants the opportunity to sponsor a butterfly and release it in honour or in memory of a loved one. Donation date has been extended until noon on July 4th.

4Line Dancing in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Come and participate in an evening of line dancing with instructor Nathalie Blais. Enjoy many styles of music and learn step-by-step choreography. Beginner’s lessons from 6 pm to 8 pm, Intermediate from 8 pm to 9 pm. Everyone welcome!

5Valois Fair

An evening of entertainment and activities for the whole family. Featured: Inflatable games, farm animals, pony rides, DJ, barbecue, ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn, fair games, and more. In case of rain, activities will take place on Friday, July 12.

6Superhero Day at the Dorval Ballantyne Aquatic Centre

Dress up as your favourite superhero and join the fun! Inflatable games, make-up, balloon artist, wax hand, music, barbecue, and ice cream await! The event is free for residents and at the cost of a daily pass for non-residents. (In case of poor weather, the event will be postponed to July 14).

7West Island Blues Festival

The West Island Blues Festival is a community-minded venture with the expressed objectives of aiding non-profit organizations and promoting Blues in the West Island. ​
​In the past sixteen years, they have given about $200 000 to several community organizations in the West Island : The West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped, the West Island Black Community Association, The West Island Women’s Shelter, Literacy Unlimited, Alzheimer Group, AJOI, The West Island Palliative Care & Portage have all benefited from their endeavours.

8Karz 4 Kidz 10th Anniversary

In 2010, siblings, Michael & Alexandria Tremis, were inspired to make a difference. They combined their efforts and started KARZ 4 KIDZ: a non-profit car show fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds raised at the K4K event are donated to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation in memory of Christopher Fonseca (Oct. 1, 1996 – Dec. 9, 2013).

9Free salsa dancing on the Sainte-Anne Boardwalk

Come and join Baila Productions Latin Dance School for a night of hot Latin rhythms. The evening will start with a short introduction to Salsa (30-45 minutes workshop), followed by an open salsa dance session for participants of all levels. A chance to practice your moves and dance the night away under the stars!
