Be part of Dollard-des-Ormeaux’s community gathering as the city celebrates Canada’s 150th anniversary. The list of activities includes bagpipes, battle of the bands for youth, a traditional native show, and a comedy show to name a few. Cool off in the arena for a free indoor skate. You can also enjoy interactive and arcade games on the streets. Dress in red and white.

OBSTAFUN
OBSTAFUN invites kids to take part in an obstacle course that is designed specifically for them by kids just like them. Hosting the race in Cedar Park Heights in Pointe-Claire will offer a safe environment (no car traffic) and the path ensures that no one gets lost. The goal is to make sure that everyone who comes has fun! Most children will be able to go through every obstacle. If you are younger than 6 years old, a grown-up must be with you to hold your hand if you need to. Registration is required.

Benefit Concert for WIAIH
Join steel pannist vocalist Anthony Roach & Friends for an evening of great music and giving back. The benefit concert includes music from Derek Falls, The Scheming Dreamers and Le Whiskey Trench. Door prizes, draws, raffle, and a silent auction all aim to raise funds for the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAIH).

La Grande Tournée arrives in Ile-Bizard
A major 375th event, La Grande Tournée, presented by Cirque Éloize, will be travelling from one end of the city to the other all summer long to celebrate its history and its people, have fun and live it up in our communities. It will give everyone who loves Montréal the chance to discover the city’s charms and secrets, celebrate with their families and get to know their neighbours. The fun will also spill out onto an adjacent street or back alley where other events also await. This is a fantastic chance to experience the dynamism and energy of the city’s boroughs during Montréal’s 375th and Canada’s 150th.
