MONTREAL RIBFEST IN PIERREFONDS
For the second year in a row, Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island will host a family friendly Rib Fest! A three-day family fun event filled with delicious food, fantastic live entertainment on two stages and plenty of games for the kids. More than 35,000 people came out last year, to try slow roasted ribs from five different award-winning rib vendors from as far away as Las Vegas, Alabama and Ontario.

STEWART HALL SUMMER EVENINGS IN THE PARK
When: Wednesday, August 3, 7:30 p.m.
Circus and clown theatre Hisse et Ho are a sailboat captain
and a shiphand who set off on a trip around the world. Hisse tries
to make Ho accountable by getting the children to help. Trapeze
numbers, juggling, breakdancing, clown acts and songs are all part
of the performance.

Yordan Martinez founded the Cuban Martinez Show during the 2010
Montreal en lumière festival. In 2011, he and his orchestra won a Syli d’Or award. Yordan composes in a variety of styles influenced by salsa, funk, Latin jazz, and his Cuban origins.
