The City of Beaconsfield invites residents to attend the Remembrance Day ceremony commemorating and honouring Canadian veterans’ contribution.

Member of Parliament for Lac-Saint-Louis, Francis Scarpaleggia, MNA for Jacques-Cartier, Geoffrey Kelley, Honorary Colonel, Jim Killin and representatives of local associations will lay wreaths.

Beginning at 1:50 p.m., a 690 Squadron Cadets parade will precede this event. To ensure safety, traffic will be halted in the sector for the duration of the parade.

On this occasion, Council invites residents to wear a poppy, the symbol associated with the memory of those who died at war to defend the freedom that we enjoy today.

Sunday, November 6 at 1:45 p.m.
Heroes Park, 288 Beaconsfield Blvd. (across from Centennial)
