The incident occurred just before dawn on Monday along the bustling Las Vegas Strip, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Lil Baby’s legal representatives, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, issued a joint statement expressing their confusion and commitment to investigating the arrest. According to them, Lil Baby holds a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon in Georgia, raising questions about the grounds for his apprehension in Nevada.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, which constitute a felony in Nevada, Lil Baby has not been formally charged. He was released from custody after posting bond and is scheduled to appear in court on October 1 in Las Vegas.
