Quebec government to hold public consultation meeting to help reduce future flood exposure

Due to the spring floods of 2017, the Quebec government wants to reduce the number of people and property exposed to future flooding while allowing, under certain conditions, the reconstruction of buildings destroyed or severely damaged during the floods.

The Quebec government will hold a public consultation meeting on July 10th, 2017 at 7pm at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Pointe-Claire , 6700, route Transcanadienne Pointe-Claire H9R 1C2.

This public consultation will allow individuals and organizations to express their views on the proposed decree.
