This is the time of year when outdoor sports have started. Kids are running and parents want to capture those moments.
As a professional photographer I would like to share these tips.
If you have a DSLR (digital single lens reflex camera), simplify your lives and set your camera to the Sports setting. If you still find you’re not getting crisp and sharp images, you should question your lens. Chances are you may have to invest in a longer and brighter lens. Often the lens is more expensive than the body itself.
If you have a digital Point-and-shoot (pocket camera) you should also set it to the Sports function. You will also have to get closer to your subjects in order to frame them better.
Remember, the light is best early morning and late afternoon.
