Hard Rock Bet, the retail and online sportsbook brand of Hard Rock casinos, unveiled its latest advertising campaign on Monday morning, titled “Roll With Us,” featuring rapper Post Malone. The gaming, entertainment, and hospitality conglomerate, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, aims to set Hard Rock Bet apart in a fiercely competitive sports betting market with the new campaign.

In the first 30-second spot, Malone targets people who might feel they lack the sports knowledge to participate. As the narrator reassures, “You can win big on Hard Rock Bet with a little bet or a Post Malone-sized bet. And you don’t need to know everything about every sport.” An actor lounging in a pool, placing a bet on his phone, adds humor by admitting to the camera, “Good, because I don’t.” The narrator concludes, “All you need is a feeling and a phone. Big payouts for every kind of player.”

Hard Rock Bet is currently legal and operational in Arizona, Iowa, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia. After a two-year hiatus due to a legal challenge that reached the Florida Supreme Court, the online sportsbook resumed operations in Florida on November 7, 2023. Although Hard Rock Bet holds a relatively small share of the US legal sports betting market in terms of revenue, its market share grew from less than 1% in the third quarter of 2023 to about 2.5% after restarting in Florida, the third-most populated state.

In a crowded market where sports and casino apps are rapidly becoming the norm across 30 states that have legalized betting apps, Hard Rock Bet aims to stand out by breaking barriers and welcoming everyone to its platform. Alongside its online sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet also offers an iGaming product in New Jersey that includes internet slots and table games.

Following the examples set by sportsbook leaders DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Caesars Sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet has enlisted a prominent celebrity to boost its online sports betting operations. Celebrities such as Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Vince Vaughn, Shaq, and Ben Affleck have also lent their likenesses to various online gaming apps.

Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, is a versatile American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist. The 29-year-old artist burst onto the music scene in 2015 with his debut track “White Iverson,” which reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. His first album, “Stoney,” released in 2016 after signing with Republic Records, hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured the hit single “Congratulations” with Quavo, peaking at No. 8 on the Hot 100.
