Officers are investigating a mysterious death after a body of man was found along a trail in the Waterford Valley area in St. John’s.
The remains were discovered sometime on Sunday night, but it is not clear when or by whom, as per a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary spokesperson.
Officers remain on the scene Monday.
The Officer of the Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
The RNC is asking any individual who may know or may have seen anything regarding the incident to come forward.
