Pointe Claire Mayor Morris Trudeau is endorsing a new road safety campaign in partnership with Police Station 5’s police chief Mohamed Bouhid, Be Safe – Stay Alive, that will encourage respect on the roads.

The initiative began with the mayor giving out the first ticket for good behaviour earlier this week to a Pointe Claire resident.  Both the police and one public security vehicle are equipped with tickets to be given out to drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike.

The positive and respectful road behaviour will be awarded at the end of the summer with a undetermined prize from the city.
