Pierrefonds Animal Hospital open for flooded furry friends for free

Pierrefonds Animal Hospital, located at 15723 Pierrefonds Blvd, has opened its doors to flooded parents and their furry families.

While the water pushes forward on many homes in Pierrefonds and Ile Bizard, volunteers are pushing back.  Homeowners impacted by the Spring 2019 thaw are being offered a chance to give their pets a break from the confusion.

“This is our way of giving back much like in 2017,” said Dr. Laurie Dunbar, co-owner of the clinic. “We are offering 48 hours without charge and after that a very reduced rate to cover the costs of food and any medication needed. We are not normally a boarding facility so we have limited space.  It is best to call before coming.  We have crates available at the moment.”
