Pedalheads® is offering KIDS a learn to bike summer camp

Pedalheads®, a children’s bike summer camp, is offering local Montréal children an opportunity to learn to ride this summer with both half-day and full-day camp opportunities. They have opened three new locations in the Montréal area and now have 57 locations in Canada. Kids will learn skills and safety knowledge in a fun, safe environment. Their popular level 1 ‘Newbees’ class focuses on removing those pesky training wheels and learning to ride independently.

New locations include: Beaconsfield, Hampstead, and Westmount.Pedalheads®, KIDS, learn to bike, summer camp, West Island Blog, News, West island News, Rhonda Massad, Bikes, Skills, Safety

Pedalheads® camps are available for children ages 3-10 of various skill levels. Children of all ages enjoy Pedalheads as they have the freedom to ride their bikes in a controlled environment. Parents’ of the younger kids, are especially drawn to the Pedalheads® camps as they are responsible for teaching children, as young as three, to ride on two- wheels in just one short week!

The Program: All Pedalheads® one-week programs involve learning important techniques: skills are broken down into progressive, manageable chunks. The children are placed in small, age-appropriate groups. Equipment is heavily utilized, and children are encouraged to play safe, stay hydrated, keep cool and have fun! A typical Pedalheads day begins with a warm-up, followed by a series of games that are specially designed to help the kids practice and improve their various cycling skills.

About Pedalheads

Traffic and densely populated urban areas make it difficult for parent’s to teach their kids to ride bikes. Kids need the confidence to ride safely on the road, in parks and around the neighbourhood. The Pedalheads® bike camp experience provides children with the right environment, trained instructors and small groups preparing them for the road – some as young as three can learn to ride without training wheels upon completion of camp.
