Outdoor Play “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar” in Dorval

As part of its free summer programming, the City of Dorval will present, in cooperation with Repercussion Theatre, the play “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar” on July 28, at 7 p.m. at Pine Beach Park.

Shakespeare’s political drama investigates the fine line between personal ambition and the general good, and, with a cast of only women, explores the relationship between gender and power. The production includes a high level of stage combat, live drumming, and, as always, a strong aesthetic style. A classic play with a modern twist.

In case of bad weather, the play will be held at the Serge Nolet Auditorium (1301 Dawson Avenue), in Dorval. This special evening is presented by the City of Dorval, in collaboration with the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée.
