The Oro-Medonte Township is currently seeking the aid of the public in their ongoing efforts to strategize the future development of the region.
At present, the town staff is immersed in preparing their strategic plan for the period of 2024 to 2027 but are eager to incorporate the views of residents in this foresighted blueprint. Suggestions, reflections, and thoughts from locals on various topics are sought after to make the strategic plan more wholesome.
Emphasizing this endeavor, Mayor Randy Greenlaw expressed in a public announcement, “As residents and business owners, your thoughts and perspective are extremely important. I personally encourage all community members to find a few minutes to complete the strategic plan questionnaire – your feedback is very much appreciated.”
A publicly accessible questionnaire has been made available, the purpose of which is to invite residents to share their preferences on what they believe the town’s priorities should be in the imminent years. This initiative is seen as an embodiment of the township’s commitment to active participation and inclusive decision-making.
