Dorval, June 15, 2020 – “With hot weather coming in the next few days, the City of Dorval is happy to announce the opening of its three outdoor aquatic centres, as of Saturday, June 20.
The Ballantyne, Surrey, and Walters aquatic centres will open their doors to the public in order to offer some fun and refreshment to Dorval residents. However, in light of the current situation related to COVID-19, the operating ways will be much different than in years past.
First, no aquatic memberships are offered for the outdoor aquatic centres this summer. 50-minute time slots are offered instead to allow access for all citizens.
The programming has also been modified in order to maximize the safety of the staff and the users of the pool, based on the recommendations of the Direction régionale de la santé publique and aquatic organizations. Of course, the usual sanitary instructions will need to be respected for any person entering the aquatic centres (physical distancing, hand washing, etc.).

Opening of Public Works
The City of Dorval also announces the reopening of Public Works to the public as of today. Therefore, citizens will once again be able to go onsite and, among other things, drop off certain waste (polystyrene, large objects, and CRD) in the Public Works yard.
Of course, Dorval residents are still encouraged to prioritize online and telephone services, such as online requests and on-call pickups, instead of dropping by.”
