A 41-year-old man from Ontario has been charged with second-degree murder after his mother’s body was discovered during a welfare check at a home in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Niagara Regional Police were alerted to the situation at a residence near Huron and St. Claire Avenue at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old Lori Konrad. The accused, who is the son of the victim, was taken into custody after attending a bail hearing on Sunday.
